Tasting Notes: An intensely coloured red bursting full of red and black fruit aromas. Smooth tannins and a velvety mouthfeel with concentrated fruit flavours of blackberries, black cherries, coffee and dried fruits. Partial ageing in oak adds structure and subtle spice to the juicy, long finish.

Romania has a rich winemaking history which dates back 4000 years. In 2011 Romania was ranked as the 13th largest wine producing country in the world. Romania is home to many local grape varieties such as Feteasca, Zghihara de Husi, Cramposia de Dragasani and Galbena de Odobesti as well as some plantings in recent years of more western European grapes such as Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
