Do you like wine? How about true crime? Are you interested in queer history? Then this event is just for you!
We'll be hearing about some queer stories and pairing them with some of our favourite wines!
What else does this event include?
- A welcome drink
- A presentation of various stories of historic persecution and prosecution of same sex desire in Wales from the 18th and 19th century by historian and fellow wine-drinker, Angela Muir. The presentation will include the legal outcome of each trial as well as some theatrics along the way!
- Crime bingo with prizes
- Three (likely tenuously) paired wines with three of the stories
- A final drink while we discuss the outcomes and pairings
