Tasting Notes: A stunning sparkling rosé with a fine mousse and lots of fresh red berries on the nose. More red berries like strawberries and red currants on the palate with plenty of citrus, a touch of peach and some complex savoury notes from lees ageing.

Region: Pembrokeshire, Wales

Varieties: Seyval Blanc & Pinot Noir
ABV: 11%
Closure: Cork

Pairing: Crack this bad boy out when you're celebrating something special. It also goes well with a smoked salmon or goat's cheese canapé or maybe try with eggs benedict and smoked salmon if you're in a decadent mood.

More Info: Established in 2017, Velfrey Vineyard occupies a gentle south facing slope of the Lampeter Vale in the south Pembrokeshire countryside. They have over 4,000 vines planted across 3 acres, which include Pinot Noir, Seyval Blanc and Solaris, all suited to cooler climates. The vines are planted on a clay loam, a soil type which is found in some of the world's most prestigious wine growing regions. Pembrokeshire sunshine combined with coastal breezes will produce perfect ripening conditions and lead to wines of the highest quality.

This quality, traditional method, sparkling wine has spent 18 months on the lees developing a delicious and refined blend of rich biscuity notes and fresh citrus fruit flavours.
