More Info: Seb and Col met whilst working in Adelaide Hills in 2014. Seb's great-great-great grandfather had planted the Hardy family's first vineyard in 1850, jumpstarting more than 160 years of family winemaking. Consequently, Seb grew up on his father's vineyard and followed in the family footsteps, working in and studying viticulture. Coleen on the other hand was working in Marketing in Chicago and decided to leave her 9-5 behind and get her teeth into the wine industry. Fast forward a few years and the two launched Living Roots, a winery based both in the Finger lakes in New York and in Adelaide Hills.

The focus is on producing big whites and delicate sparklings in the cool climate of New York and vibrant, medium-bodied reds in Australia. Working as sustainably as possible, the pair split their time between both their home towns, making wines and offering tours and tastings to help people understand more about the wines they're tasting.
